At Prescript, we want to make sure our values flow through everything we do. That’s one reason why every year we set a giving goal through our partnership with the Global Giving Business initiative, B1G1.
Through 2019, our goal is to provide 10,000 days of Medical Care to children in the slums of India. Diseases such as diarrhoea, malaria and rabies are rife. The provision of medical services helps to reduce the mortality rate and allow children to thrive under extreme conditions.
Each quarter in 2019 we link our services to providing 2,500 days of medical support for these children.
You’re part of making it happen by using Prescript.
More About The Project
Prescript’s Giving Goal is to support 10,000 days of appropriate medical care and treatment for ill and vulnerable children from slums in India.
Millions of children live in slums and are dying of diseases such as diarrhoea, malaria and rabies which are caused by poor sanitation and overcrowding. The provision of medical services will help to reduce the mortality rate and allow children to thrive.
The following organisations will be delivering the medical check-ups:
Shikshan Gram (shelter for homeless village children)
Helping Hands in Service (for slum children of Geeta Nagar Slums)
Arts of Living (for slum children of Dharavi)
HSNC Board (for educating slum children in their school for under resourced children)
Dreamz Home (for educating and nurturing homeless street children)
Cancer Patients Aid Association (for educating and nurturing homeless street children).
