The Position

Rural Generalists, would you like to work in outback Queensland? Prescript has dates in North West QLD within various locations between September and April 2022.

Working as the sole GP, you’ll operate on a fly-in / fly-out basis and can choose to work in Doomadgee, Normanton, Mornington Island or Julia Creek.

★ Locum blocks are week on / week off to correspond with flight schedules and to build in fatigue breaks

★ Working during the day for the GP clinics, and on-call for the hospital

★ Day shifts: Monday to Sunday | 0800am to 1800pm

★ On-call: Monday to Sunday | 1800pm to 0800am

★ Straightforward travel from Brisbane

★ Earn a daily rate between $2100 and $2250 - this is dependent on location

➞ There are also dates available at Mount Isa Emergency Department. This is working alongside other SMOs in Emergency Medicine, no GP clinic requirements - $2100 per day.

There are ongoing requirements across the health service into 2022, if the above dates do not work for you, please get in touch with your availability and we will assess the roster for suitability.
