The Position

There are two ongoing positions available at linked remote practices, suitable for GPs with or without Emergency Medicine experience.

These practices have recently reorganised their rosters and are looking for tenacious GPs to assist with a critical requirement in October, or by FIFO arrangements over the next year.

Paraburdoo - Clinic Only

Working out of Paraburdoo Medical Centre you will be the sole doctor servicing the primarily mining and indigenous community in the area. This is a private billing practice where you’ll have the flexibility to arrange specialised health assessments to maximise your earning potential.

No weekend, public holiday or on-call commitments

70% of billings arrangement

Roughly 4 patients per hour, $90 standard appointment charge

45-49 health assessments to be completed - $172 per consult

Experienced and supportive administrative team

Support from local GPs situated in Tom Price + the Paraburdoo Hospital

Tom Price - Clinic + ED

Working out of Tom Price Medical Centre, you will be working alongside 2 other GPs and sharing on-call responsibilities for the local hospital + Paraburdoo hospital. Major trauma in these small mining towns is uncommon so you will be able to work in the practice (if desired) during your weekdays on-call, and you’re unlikely to be required overnight.

70% of billings arrangement + $2200 per day on-call allowance

On-call 1 in 3 weekdays, plus weekends

Flexibility to provide additional days on-call if desired

High earning potential plus ability to book specialised appointments with the practice
