Locum ED SMO/General Practitioner - Escape to Esperance WA

The Position

This excellent locum opportunity is for PGY6+ doctors or General Practitioners with strong emergency medicine skills and the ability to work independently.

There is no better time to locum in breathtaking Esperance WA. It’s the coolest time of year and the best time to explore some of the most incredible beaches in Australia... be sure to look out for Whale Sharks that arrive in early March!

★ Ongoing dates available from ASAP to 31 March 2022 and beyond - Please enquire for future dates from April to the end of 2022

★ Work as part of an experienced senior ED team

★ Day, afternoon and night shifts (nights solo-doctor on-shift)

★ $1750 - $1900 per day (rate negotiable for urgent shifts)

Experience strikingly white beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters, untouched islands and colour-filled wildflower country.

During your time off, you’ll be able to explore and take in the beauty of this scenic region and the many activities it has to offer. From four-wheel drive beach safaris to nature reserves, there is so much to do and see; sandboarding, cultural tours, island cruises, diving, snorkelling, fishing, canoeing and much more.

Esperance’s biggest social event of the year - The Esperance Cup - is also on the 6th March; which is Esperance Bay Turf Club’s longest race at over 2000m - now boasting $70,000 in prize money.

Unfortunately, due to border closures, only WA-based doctors are eligible for this locum.
