The Position
Rural Generalists, have you considered locum work in one of Australia’s most picturesque and striking locations? Prescript is working with two small rural hospitals in the Great Southern Region to fill urgent gaps in March and April.
★ Dates across two sites, situated 45 minutes drive from a large referral hospital
★ Hospital work only – you will be working solo as the senior doctor in-charge
★ 5-8 bed inpatient units – required to conduct two ward rounds each day
★ You will be situated close to the hospital and available for emergency presentations between 0800-2200
★ On-call overnight for inpatients only (roughly 2-3 call-backs per month)
★ Local GPs can be called for assistance if required

➞ Direct flights from Perth 3x per day – short 40-50 minute drive to the hospitals
➞ Self-contained family-friendly external accommodation
➞ Nurse practitioner and DON support across both sites
What We’re Looking For
Criteria:
➞ FRACGP or FACRRM
➞ ALS2/REST/REACT completed in the last three years
➞ WA Working with children check (can be completed prior to commencement)
