The Position

Neurologist

Cardiologist

Hepatologist

General Medicine Specialist

This hospital system was the first fully digital public hospital with medication management in a regional area. The hospital has an 8 Bed Cardiac Care unit, onsite mental health services, medical surgical, HDU, neuro, cardiac, and gastro/hepatology services.

Dates Available

➞ Neurologist

  • ASAP to 21st February 2022

  • $2100 per day - Travel and accommodation and car provided

  • General Neurology services required with speciality areas can be covered based on expertise

➞ Cardiologist

  • ASAP to 4th April 2022 (2 weeks each month)

  • $2100 per day

  • Travel and accommodation and car provided

  • Pacing and Echo skills highly regarded

➞ Hepatologist

  • ASAP to 4th April 2022 (4 week contract periods)

  • $2100 per day

  • Travel and accommodation and car provided

➞ General Medicine Specialist

  • ASAP to 6th February 2022

  • Rates $2100 per day - travel and accommodation and car provided

  • Monday to Friday 0800 to 1630 - public holidays and weekends not required

  • Consultants will need to be able to work the wards and outpatient clinics as required

  • Registrar support is available

The Benefits

★ $2100 per day  

★ Payment choice - either via invoice or Prescript payroll:

➞ Invoice if PTY Ltd or Trust business structure - you will have PI, PL & WC + Medical Indemnity

➞ Prescript payroll - daily rate inclusive of super

★ Spend your weekends enjoying the reef and live the Australian holiday lifestyle!  

★ Choose your contract dates – minimum 2 weeks up to the full block of time

Who We’re Looking For

Specialist Registration with AHPRA

FRACP

You must either be an Australian citizen/permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen or a relevant work visa

 Experience in Aboriginal health services are highly regarded  

Proof of COVID vaccination is required
