Obstetrician & Gynaecologist – Sapphire Coast NSW – Weekend Locums

The Position

O&G Consultants – are you available for weekend locums on the beautiful Sapphire Coast of NSW?

Weekend dates are available during every month of the year through to December 2022. This is an incredible opportunity to make forward plans well in advance, name your rate, and be a massive help to the local community!

★ Spend your time off indulging in oysters and experiencing world-class surf beaches. As told by the locals there is a fabulous fish and chips shop within 15 minutes of the hospital too!

★ This regional teaching hospital is a modern facility that's been in operation for six years, and they pride themselves on quality services and a popular return destination for locums. The hospital provides services across ED, paediatrics, operating theatres, medical/surgical inpatient beds, maternity, critical care, renal, oncology, mental health, and a recently opened sub-acute rehab unit.

★ The hospital servicing area extends from Mallacoota down to Bateman's Bay. This hospital provides teaching opportunities, and locums will need to participate in supporting other doctors.

★ Working hours start at 0800, and doctors have on-call responsibilities to cover from 1630 to 0800 the following day.

★ Doctors are required to work the labour ward and have on-call duties.  Unsupervised Caesareans are required. Registrar support is available from 0800 to 2230 weekdays and 0900-1900 weekends.
