DMS Locum In Picturesque Tassie - $2500 per day - Negotiable Rate

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a locum Director of Medical Services to assist a health service in North West Tasmania for a period of leave cover from March to May 2023.

You’ll be located in a beautiful coastal town that offers a relaxed and family-friendly lifestyle. The city boasts lovely beaches, world-class restaurants, and a range of outdoor activities, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.

The facility is modern and well-equipped, with a supportive and dynamic team of medical professionals. If you hold your FRACMA and have a passion for delivering excellent medical services and a desire to work in a beautiful Tasmanian coastal town, we would love to hear from you.

The Position

As the locum Director of Medical Services, you will be responsible for reporting to and providing support to the Executive Director of Medical Services. You will also participate in a rotational on-call roster.

You will be required to work collaboratively with the medical team and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality medical services.

We are looking for excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven track record of managing medical services. You will possess a strong understanding of the healthcare system and be able to provide strategic and operational direction to ensure safe, efficient, and effective healthcare services.
