I’m Stef McLaughlin, Credentialing, Quality and Giving Manager at Prescript Recruitment. I work with regional hospitals and practices across Australia to ensure that doctors start on time.
My role involves:
📌 the management of all credentialing for doctors that work with Prescript; this includes both locum and permanent positions.
📌 responsible for ensuring that Prescript’s quality management processes are adhered to as well as those of the healthcare organisations we work with.
📌credentialing for every state and territory, every area health service and the majority of private hospitals.
📌ensuring that the highest standards with credentialing, customer service and recruitment processes are adhered to. It is also the little things that count – I want to provide peace of mind to everyone I work with that they are in safe hands.
Another part of my role that I love is managing Prescript's giving - we believe that every business has the power to change lives by giving back through its everyday activities. Every time we help a doctor with the next step in their career in regional Australia we also contribute towards medical coverage in rural Kenya.
Our BIG goal is to pay a doctor's salary for an entire year, plus assist with food, clean water and power at the health centre in the village of Odede in Western Kenya.
Through working with our hospitals, clinics and doctors in Australia, the following impacts have also been created for the Odede community:
☑️ Provision of nourishing meals to children with HIV
☑️ Contribution to hospital maintenance and electricity
☑️ Access to life-saving clean water for patients
