Prescript has a rare opportunity for GPs to locum on tropical Magnetic Island for a great daily rate with minimal on-site hours.
You are required on-site from 9-11 am then will be on-call only. ★Note - doctors are 3rd on-call: ambulance first, then the nurse, and lastly the Dr.
This means you’ll have more time off to wind down and explore everything Magnetic Island has to offer!
There is so much to do and see during your time on fantastic Magnetic Island! Experience an abundance of wildlife, beautiful, secluded beaches, bushland hikes, and wonderful restaurants and cafes.
The Position
★ 2 bedroom unit, within walking distance from the hospital
★ Quiet locum
★ Solo Dr
★ Required onsite from 9-11 am then on-call only
★ 2-3 nurses on each day working 0800 – 1630
★ Dr is 3rd on-call - ambulance first, then the nurse, and lastly the Dr
★ Day rate of $1800 - $2050 per day (hospital only)
OR
★ Hospital and GP, day rate approx. $1200 per day plus percentage of billings (can earn over $1000 per day in the clinic)
