The Position

Prescript currently has locum vacancies for General Practitioners to provide quarantine and isolation medical services at the Centre for National Resilience (CNR) Howard Springs from 1st July to the 31st December.

Locum blocks of six weeks to six months can be booked. Talk to us about your availability for the rest of the year.

The daily rate is in the range of $2000 to $2500 per day dependent on your experience.

In this locum position, you will be looking after residents in quarantine and isolation. Wearing full PPE, your consultations will either be in the residents’ room or on their balconies.

Consultations will cover a broad range of primary health care issues, including mental health issues. The focus is on managing health issues on-site as much as possible to avoid unnecessary transfer into the acute care system.

The residents are a mix of returning Australians, NT international arrivals and NT domestic hotspot arrivals.

For every referral of a colleague you make to Prescript, a year’s worth of life-saving clean water will be donated to Ethiopian families in the Tigray region.
