Whether you are generalist trained or bring subspecialty expertise in Interventional Radiology, Breast Imaging, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine, we can match you to a site that values your skills — and tailor the work to your preferences.
The Position
You will be working across Port Macquarie’s leading imaging services, which span comprehensive hospital-based and community private practice environments.
Both sites offer an outstanding breadth of modalities and casemix, supported by highly skilled radiographers, sonographers, and administrative teams.
Available modalities include:
MRI
CT
General X-ray and fluoroscopy
High-quality ultrasound across general, vascular, and obstetrics
Mammography
Interventional Radiology facilities
Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT available at some sites
You will have the opportunity to tailor your work based on your interests — whether that's procedural IR work, breast diagnostics, advanced MRI reads, or PET/CT interpretation.
Radiologists are fully supported by experienced modality teams, with streamlined digital reporting systems, access to multidisciplinary support where needed, and a strong focus on efficient workflows and patient care.
There’s no after-hours, no weekend commitments, and plenty of support both on-site and via teleradiology when needed.
This is a perfect environment for Radiologists who want exposure to a rich variety of work - while enjoying the calm, welcoming atmosphere of Port Macquarie’s coastal community.

All weeks in June and July 2025 – one week or multiple weeks available, built around your schedule
August 2025 onward – enquire to secure your preferred dates
Monday to Friday roster only — no weekends or on-call
Benefits Provided
Top Rates: $3,800–$4,500 per day
