The Position

A locum Specialist is needed for a Tasmanian Alcohol and Drug Service. Are you available for an ASAP start date?

★ Specialist Medical Practitioners Alcohol and Drug Service. Dates asap to September 2021.

★ The Alcohol and Drug Service - treatment and support services to individuals and families affected by alcohol, tobacco and other drug use.

★ This locum role will be part of a Pharmacotherapy Unit, to provide specialist medical assessment and treatment for opioid dependency.

Dates Available

This locum position is for an ASAP start date with an end date of 20th September 2021.

◼️ Full-time

◼️ Monday to Friday

◼️ 830am to 5pm

◼️ You will be part of the on-call roster

What We’re Looking For

➞ You will be either:

➞ Addiction Medicine Specialist

➞ Psychiatrist with Addiction and ADS experience

➞ Specialist GP with ADS experience

➞ AHPRA Specialist Registration

➞ You must be an Australian citizen/permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen or hold another valid work visa

The Benefits

★ $2200 per day

★ $550 per day on-call // $275 per hour call-back

★ Payment choice - either via invoice or via Prescript payroll

➞ Invoice - if PTY Ltd or Trust business structure - you will have PI, PL & WC + Medical Indemnity

➞ Prescript payroll - daily rate inclusive of super, salary packaging available

★ Return travel, accommodation and car provided
