General Medicine Consultant Locum - Northeast VIC - Up To $3000 Per Day

The Positions

Would you like to locum in Northeast Victoria? Join a friendly service with a supportive DMS who are urgently looking for General Medicine Consultant support, for up to $3000 per day.

★ ASAP dates available with extensions that could last 3-6 months or longer, please contact us if you wish to discuss a permanent role as well.

★ This health service provides care to a population of 90,000 across Northeast Victoria. The hospital is only a 2.5-hour drive from Melbourne making it an easy option for doctors based in the city and looking to pick up weekend shifts or work during the week.

★ Typical roster is 0730-1600 Monday to Friday, with a roster for weekend shifts. General Medicine Consultants will typically have ward round responsibilities and teaching for Registrars and RMOs. 

★ If you have a background in a Medicine subspecialty, such as Endocrinology or Respiratory Medicine, and would like a more senior role, please talk to us about potential openings on a locum and permanent basis.

★ You will be working in the inpatient medicine unit with a high volume of complex health requirements.

★ Working hours and arrangements can be quite flexible, put forward your availability and we can work around you.

Dates Available

➞ ASAP start date for up to 6 months as a locum. Longer-term option may be available for the right candidate.

Who We’re Looking For

Specialist Registration with APHRA

FRACP is required

You must either be an Australian citizen/permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen or a relevant work visa

Police checks must be issued within the last six months (can be organised)

Full vaccination proof for COVID 19
