The Position

O&G Consultants, we are excited to share this wonderful opportunity to escape to the island state! Enjoy your weekends in North West Tasmania, exploring popular pristine beaches such as Boat Harbour and Sisters Beach, or explore some of the Cradle Mountain hiking trails nestled in amongst wilderness.

★ Dates are available between October and November, with the option to extend thereafter.

★ Working daily rate of $2200 - inclusive of on-call and overtime as per the roster.

★ This 160-bed facility provides O&G inpatient services; however, the facility has outpatient and community departments incorporated within the service. 

★ Expected to participate in the on-call roster along with other O&Gs, which is one day of on-call a week and one-in-five weekend rosters.

★ You will need to manage the labour ward and will need to be able to conduct unassisted caesareans.

Who We’re Looking For

✓ Specialist APHRA Registration

✓ FRANZCOG

✓ Australian permanent resident or citizen, NZ citizen, or relevant work visa

✓ National Police Check and Working With Children Check

✓ Experience working in a secondary service is beneficial but not required
