The Position

Prescript has psychiatry locums for both JMOs and Consultants in Broken Hill, NSW. Are you available to assist? Your professional expertise and support within this NSW outback community will be exceptionally appreciated - you will be making a significant impact.

★ General Adult Inpatient Psychiatry positions.

★ JMO dates are available between 17 Sept and 24 Oct 2021. And Psychiatry Consultant dates are available between 18 Oct 2021 and 02 Jan 2022

★ Travel and accommodation provided.

Broken Hill is located in the far west of outback New South Wales. This frontier mining town is rich with history and a vibrant artistic community. Experience lovely cafes and galleries, famous sculptures and landmarks and palatial federation heritage in Australia’s first heritage-listed city.

Dates Available

➞ Consultant Psychiatrist 

  • 18 Oct-24 Oct - $2200 per day

  • 15 Nov-21 Nov - $2200 per day

  • 29 Nov-5 Dec - $2200 per day

  • 13 Dec-19 Dec - $2200 per day

  • 20 Dec-2 Jan - $2500 per day

  • Payment is VMoney (company or Sole Trader)

➞ Psychiatry JMO

  • 18 Sept-8 Oct

  • $160 per hour (PGY2+)

  • 0800hrs – 1630hrs

  • The role may include occasional rostered overtime and rostered on-call

Who We’re Looking For

FRANZCP & Specialist AHPRA Registration (psychiatrists)

General AHPRA Registration (JMOs)

Australian citizen/permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen, or a relevant work visa

Previous experience as a psychiatry JMO is not essential
