The Positions

Locum Cardiologists – this is a great opportunity for private locum work in the southern and western suburbs of Sydney.

★ Dates are available from October to December 2021, with the ability to extend for additional dates into the new year.

★ There are three different locations; however, they can work with you on which locations you work at based on your commute.

★ Working hours are 9 am to 5 pm, and most Cardiologists typically see around 20 to 24 patients a day.

★ The Cardiologists at these centres are bulk billed, and they focus on consulting and dictating referrals. Doctors are also responsible for Holter and ABP monitor reporting, echo, and stress echo reporting.

★ Onsite Cardiac Technicians prepare roughly 4-5 reports for Cardiologists to review and sign off on a day.

★ Sonographers prepare the preliminary reports for Cardiologists, typically performing 15-18 tests per day.
