The Position

Do you have a passion for rural primary care and the skills to work on-call for a small emergency department? Or are you keen to upskill in emergency medicine and progress your career as a rural generalist? Prescript are working with three Western NSW clinics to find general practitioners on both a locum and permanent basis.

As a locum, you will be working in a clinic Monday to Friday whilst providing on-call services to the nearby hospital during the weekday days only. You will complete a ward round in the morning before heading to the clinic and only be required to attend the hospital for Cat 1 and 2 presentations before 8 pm.

There are also three permanent/ongoing positions available for General Practitioners with or without emergency skills:

★ 5000+ patients registered per clinic 

★ DPA & MMM5 locations

★ Best Practice Software

★ Multidisciplinary Practice Team (AMS, Podiatrists, Nurse Practitioners)

★ Excellent earning potential  

★ Rural loadings and incentives

★ Additional Womens’ Health and Skin Cancer clinics

★ Opportunity to provide VMO services to the nearby hospitals

Dates Available

Locum: Immediate Start until 31st December 2021

➞ One month or longer locum blocks preferred

➞ Monday to Friday, no weekends, no nights

➞ On-call for the Hospital (Cat 1 & 2 only) between 0800-2000

➞ Clinical Hours 0900-1730  

Permanent: ongoing urgent requirements

The Benefits

★ $2000 per day or 70% billings

★ Large 3-bedroom doctors house provided

★ $1000 travel subsidy (locum)

★ $3000 relocation package + other incentives (permanent)

★ Earn over $550,000 per year 

★ Work Part-time to complete ACRRM Fellowship

What We’re Looking For

FRACGP or FACRRM (Or GP Trainees with an interest in rural and emergency medicine)

Specialist Registration with AHPRA

Australian/New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent resident, or other relevant work visa.
