Minimum 2-week blocks (longer-term preferred).

Benefits Provided

  • Exceptional Daily Rates – $1,688.80 to $2,188/day depending on level

  • Full Concierge Support – Travel, accommodation, and credentialing handled start to finish

  • First Pick of Shifts – We’re a preferred partner with Queensland Health

  • Modern Hospital, Smart Systems – The first fully digital public hospital in regional QLD, with streamlined voice-to-text and e-meds

  • Real Impact, Balanced Life – Help keep care running in a regional ED, while enjoying a vibrant coastal city with reef access, cafes, and sunshine

What We’re Looking For

  • PGY6+ with strong Emergency Medicine experience

  • FACEMs or seasoned SMOs comfortable with both adult and paediatric cases

  • ALS2 (or equivalent)

  • A commitment to at least one upcoming block, and a desire to contribute meaningfully in a well-run ED

Why This Role Stands Out

Mackay isn’t just a fill-in shift — it’s a genuine chance to step into a respected department where you’ll feel supported and valued. Whether you’re looking for a short-term break from metro pressures or testing the waters for a more regional rhythm, this is the kind of locum that can spark something bigger.
