The Position

Prescript is working with a hospital on the border of NSW and VIC to help find senior doctors in emergency medicine to provide ongoing weekend locum cover. You will be working in charge at this busy rural hospital, supported by an experienced nursing team and procedural specialists on-call.

★ 28 Bed General/Acute hospital

★ Shifts are 8 pm Friday – 8 am Monday

★ $6000 per weekend, extra loadings on public holidays

★ Pathology and imaging available 24 hours

★ On-site 2 bedroom accommodation provided

★ 2nd on-call GP VMO available for fatigue management

★ Weekday coverage can be discussed ($2000 per day)

Dates are ongoing and longer 5-10 day locum blocks can be discussed. Please get in touch with your availability.

What We’re Looking For

Senior Medical Officers / General Practitioners with advanced Emergency Medicine training and experience

Recent trauma course certifications (ALS2 / REST / APLS etc)

General or Specialist AHPRA Registration

Australian or NZ Citizen, or relevant work visa

VIC or NSW based doctors preferred
