SA Locum Requirements - Rural Generalists & ED Senior Medical Officers

The Position

Are you able to locum in South Australia? Eyre and Far North Local Health Network in South Australia are looking to fill various Rural Generalist & ED SMO roles throughout 2022.

Ceduna

➞ Ceduna requires a Rural Generalist (second GP Locum Doctor) to participate in the ED on-call roster and also in the clinic. When on-call, you will be on call only for the ED Department and not working in the clinic

➞ Ceduna Practice has a resident GP Obs + GP Aneath + a full-time GP ED locum

➞ Dates: Every Monday to Friday ongoing to December

➞ Rate: $2000 per day, with shared on-call roster

Mid Eyre (CLEVE)

➞ Mid Eyre requires a Rural Generalist to work in the GP and cover on-call for the ED. Located at Cleve, you will be on-call for the hospitals (Kimba Cowell and Kimba), and clinic locations will be Kimba, Cleve, Elliston. SAVES Programs operates overnight for any CAT 1-3

➞ Dates: Every Monday to Friday ongoing to December

➞ Rate: $2000 per day, with shared on-call roster

Coober Pedy

➞ Coober Pedy requires a Rural Generalist for GP Clinic + 24hr on call.

➞ You will be the sole doctor on for the duration of your placement.

➞ Dates: 1-8 April, 7-11 October, and 22-31 December 2022

➞ Rate: $2000 per day

Port Lincoln

➞ Port Lincoln requires Senior Medical Officers (PGY7+) for ED and Ward work

➞ They have ongoing work for 2022 and will look at blocks of dates, long terms dates, and weekend availability

➞ $200 per hour for senior shifts

Shift structure as below:

➞ 0800 - 2000 

➞ 1000 - 2200 

➞ 0800 - 2000 

➞ 0800 - 2000 

➞ 2000 - 0830
