About Rebecca Doyle

Over my 22-year career in health-related roles, I have been proud of the fact that I have worked in highly regarded organisations such as Johnson & Johnson Medical, St Vincent's Hospital, and now at Prescript Recruitment as Senior Radiology Recruitment Partner. Within these organisations, you will find cultures of honesty, respect, and well-earned reputations for their high standards of service and customer care.

I was born and raised in Wollongong, NSW, and am still a proud "Gong girl", However after graduating from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Nutrition), I left for Sydney, where I was able to work in Medical Recruitment, Medical Device Sales, and Human Resources over the next 17 years. My personal life in Sydney involved very little downtime as I juggled career, a full & fun social life, plenty of travel and visits to see family at my parents' beautiful farm.

In early 2018, after craving a much more relaxed pace of life, I moved to Northern NSW with my partner. We spend many weekends exploring the endless hidden gems of the Northern Rivers region, eating out at the many different cafes & restaurants, and putting on our hiking shoes for a dose of nature.  Outside of that, you'll find me at Pilates, Boxing, hitting the beach, and catching up with friends. And when the sky allows, I absolutely love watching a full moon rise.

If there were three words to describe me, it would be determined, diligent and empathetic. My colleagues would also say I'm detail-oriented. However, they all sound quite serious, therefore, I should add that I do love to have a good laugh and be a little silly when required in the name of fun!

I'd love to hear from you! There are three ways to contact me:

  1. Call Rebecca on 0434 401 379

  2. Email rebecca@prescript.com.au

  3. Click 'Connect with Prescript'

FRANZCR Teleradiologists - Work From Anywhere - The World At Your Fingertips

Are you interested in something a bit different?

Does the idea of working seven days on followed by seven days off in an overseas location sound appealing? Imagine all the adventures you can go on and things you can achieve, having a week off every fortnight!

Teleradiology allows you to have it all - a career that is financially rewarding, the freedom to work globally, and the ability to maintain and enhance your professional development.

Imagine having half the year off! What would you do with your spare time?

➝ If you are returning to your native country, maybe you would spend precious time with family and old friends from whom you’ve been separated through the COVID pandemic?

➝ Or, maybe you had plans back in 2019/2020 to escape overseas, and now the opportunity is finally here, you can fully immerse yourself into the culture of your chosen country?

All of this can be possible while keeping your Australian/New Zealand experience and CPD current.

Wherever you decide to work, you will be helping public hospitals and private radiology groups in Australia and New Zealand with their emergency, trauma, and after-hours reporting. Having global coverage with FRANZCR Radiologists means there is 24/7 access and support for regional communities when they need it most.

Plus, the best thing about your overseas teleradiology career is that you only report during your daytime hours.

There are not many opportunities where you can live globally while working as a Radiologist for Australian & New Zealand clinics and health services. Whether you choose to work from a dedicated reporting office or a home office, you will still be part of an excellent reporting environment.  You’ll not only have a strong clinical team to liaise with, but you’ll have the support of a well-trained and efficient operational team, plus the backing of state-of-the-art IT.

Where Will You Live & Work?

There are a limited number of positions available including positions with work visa sponsorship in Canada, the US, the UK, and Ireland.  Other overseas locations such as mainland Europe and South Africa will be considered if you have your own work visa.

You would work seven days on/seven days off – working in daylight hours overseas, to cover nighttime hours in Australia and New Zealand.

Work from either a dedicated reporting office or a work-from-home setup.

Looking to explore different parts of the world now that travel has opened up again? You can stay in the same place for the duration of your contract or alternatively move to other global offices every 6+ months.

The Benefits You Can Expect

★ Lucrative remuneration package, including floor rates for guaranteed base salary, relocation allowance and secondary registration & RANZCR fees paid

★ Supported CPD programme and trauma course provided

★ Medical malpractice provided

★ Visa sponsorship for Canada/USA/UK/Ireland

★ Additional shifts are available in weeks off for additional earning

★ The caseload will be exciting and varied with interesting pathologies, and you will enjoy the support of highly trained clinical, operational and technical support staff

★ The ultimate work-life-balance working 0.8FTE for only 26 weeks of the year with no commute

Lifestyle Features

There are so many different lifestyles to imagine with a rare opportunity like this…

Perhaps you would like to spend a year in the UK, dashing off to places such as Italy, Norway and other European destinations on your weeks off.  You’ll be able to immerse yourself in all the wonderfully diverse cultures located just a short flight away.

Maybe you and your family are looking for a tree change and want to experience a year or two in Canada, embracing and exploring all of its natural beauty, and teaching the kids to ski!

Or perhaps city life is something you’ve always wanted to experience? New York, Dublin, Cape Town... the list goes on.

Teleradiology allows you to have it all - a career that’s financially rewarding, the freedom to work globally for only 26 weeks of the year, and the ability to maintain and enhance your professional development.

Who We’re Looking For

You will have FRANZCR and either AHPRA specialist registration or MCNZ Vocational registration

Current emergency and trauma reporting experience

Commitment for a 1 to 2-year period

Who this role would suit:

➝ New FRANZCR Radiologists who would like to work overseas before settling on a new career path in Australia

➝ Overseas trained FRANZCR Radiologists who'd like to return to their native home for a year or two while maintaining their Australian work experience

➝ Semi-retirees who have the freedom to go live overseas but want to keep their work experience/CPD up

➝ Young families who want to travel before their children are school age

Your Impact

From overseas, you will be working during your awake/daylight hours for public hospitals and private radiology providers in Australia and NZ, helping to manage their after-hours and urgent reporting. With a large proportion of trauma and emergency cases to report on, this role makes a significant difference to regional communities that need your skills.

Feedback From Radiologists

Working in teleradiology allows tremendous flexibility with the ability to work in the northern and southern hemispheres at different times of the year. I spent last Christmas and New Year doing reporting from the UK, but I was back in the warmth of Australia by Australia Day.
Any radiologist wanting a flexible, stimulating work environment would be well suited to the job, particularly if they have an interest in emergency radiology
There are offices in major countries but pretty much the world is your oyster as long as there’s an excellent internet connection.
24/7 around the world Radiologists are working during their awake hours. You can work from Cape Town with beautiful views of the mountains, or from New York or Vancouver, the list goes on!

About Paul Tillman

As Prescripts Senior Recruitment Partner for non-specialist doctors, I am passionate about building close relationships with both the doctors and health services I work with. I always aim to provide a personal and tailored service and will strive to find the best opportunities for doctors based on their needs and goals and, in turn, provide health services with the best fit for the vacancies they have.

Having worked in medical recruitment for over five years, I have a great understanding of the roles available and the challenges health services face in finding staff for their vacancies.

Prior to working in medical recruitment, I was a Registered Nurse and worked in the UK as a Respiratory HDU Nurse for NHS trusts. This means I have a great insight into the challenges of working clinically and always try to consider this in my work.

I am currently studying Nursing again to allow me the opportunity to return to some clinical work in Australia. My family and I moved to Melbourne from the UK over five years ago, and I enjoy travelling and exploring Australia whenever I can, as well as getting back home to visit family in the UK.

My passions are spending time with friends and family, including my dog Ted, eating and drinking out, enjoying the Australian weather (when Melbourne allows), and sports – most of all football (or soccer, as I am often told).

I always have time for a chat and a joke with health services and doctors alike and look forward to building new connections at Prescript.

Radiologists – Leadership Role With Generous Earning Capability

A reputable private diagnostic imaging provider in Toowoomba within close proximity to Brisbane would like to welcome a Radiologist to their supportive and patient-focused team.

Rebecca Doyle (Prescript's Senior Radiology Recruitment Partner) has visited this practice in Toowoomba and here is what she has to say…

I had a fantastic time in Toowoomba, not only visiting the practice but also driving around the different suburbs to get a feel for the city.

I found the clinic staff very welcoming and professional, and the clinic environment modern, well set out, and efficiently run. The Radiologists at this comprehensive practice each had their own reporting room, which meant they could work independently, with limited distractions. It was also clear to see there was unlimited potential for growth, with a busy patient schedule.

Toowoomba is a thriving regional community perched atop the Great Dividing Range and the views from some of the city’s locations are quite spectacular. The city centre has been gentrified and has some fantastic artwork throughout, whilst still maintaining the distinguished style of the historic buildings.

I had lunch at a funky little café and thoroughly enjoyed my meal which was made with some delicious local produce. The city has all the amenities that you would expect for such a large regional city yet was very easy to get about.

On driving around, I was struck by its natural beauty with the many parklands and beautiful tree-lined streets. There were also some very elegant houses that looked straight out of a magazine, and on the outskirts of town, there were beautiful acreages for those seeking a more rural lifestyle.

I’d love to tell you more about this position call me +61 434 401 379 or email me rebecca@prescript.com.au

Below are some photos from my visit!

Within these organisations, you will find cultures of honesty, respect and well-earned reputations for their high standards of service and customer care.

Born and raised in Wollongong, NSW and a proud "Gong girl", I lived a busy life doing ballet, tap dancing, theatre and singing.  After graduating from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Nutrition), I left for Sydney, where I was able to work in Medical Recruitment, Medical Device Sales and Human Resources over the next 17 years.

Outside of that, you'll find me at Pilates, Boxing, hitting the beach and catching up with friends.
