You’ll join a high-functioning Emergency Department managing over 13,700 attendances annually. The facilities include open bay beds, precaution rooms, and priority areas to ensure you can deliver care efficiently.

Shift Times: 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Work closely with the local community while gaining experience in a busy regional ED.

Launceston General Hospital invites dedicated Senior ED Registrars to join its Emergency Department team for locum dates from September to November. Speak to Prescript about your availability and reserve your dates. As the senior ED doctor capable of doing nights in charge, you will lead both in-charge and non-charge shifts.

• Launceston is the major regional referral hospital and provides ACEM training.

• No solo nights.

• Comprehensive support throughout your locum tenure.

• All nights are staffed by 1 senior registrar & 1-2 Jnr registrars and 2-3 JMOs.

• Multiple FACEMs are on site from 0800-2400.

• FACEM on-call from 2400-0800.

• Most key sub-specialties on-site, including 24/7 Cath lab, ECMO-capable ICU.

Dates Available

Start: 19/09/2024

End: 06/11/2024

Once your availability is confirmed, you’ll receive a mix of full-time equivalent shifts, scheduled and communicated directly by Prescript.
