Prescript is working with a brand-new Urgent Care client across three metro Melbourne locations. With straightforward workflows, well-supported sites, and high-demand rosters, these shifts are perfect for GPs or FACEMs seeking balance, income, and impact.
The Position
We’re recruiting experienced GPs (or FACEMs) to deliver Category 3–5 Urgent Care at three established sites:
- Frankston and Prahran – supported by a nurse and receptionist
- Sandringham – located within hospital grounds, patients referred directly from ED (solo site, no reception required)
- One clinician per shift
- Fast-paced, low-complexity presentations
- Payment via invoice
Dates Available
- Immediate start
- Ongoing weekday and weekend shifts across all sites
- Flexible block options available
Benefits Provided
- $200/hr weekdays
- $250/hr weekends and public holidays
- Simple systems and minimal admin
- No late finishes (latest shift ends at 10pm)
- Full Prescript support to get you credentialed, booked, and paid
What We Require From You
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA (FRACGP, FACRRM or FACEM)
- Ability to invoice for services
- No prior Urgent Care experience required – ideal for doctors exploring this model
Why This Role Stands Out
These are metro-based Urgent Care roles with fast onboarding, high rates, and repeatable shift options.
Weekend rates of $250/hr, no late nights, and a supportive environment make this a standout option—especially for those new to the UC model or after consistent, flexible work close to home.
