If you’ve been considering a locum in Tasmania, this might be the perfect time. Our radiologists consistently rate these placements among the most rewarding in Australia — not just for the quality of work, but for the warmth and hospitality they experience on-site.
With new dates just released across two well-regarded imaging sites — Burnie and Mersey — this is your opportunity to enjoy premium rates, a supportive clinical setting, and time to explore one of Australia’s most naturally beautiful regions.
The Position
We’re seeking general radiologists to support well-established diagnostic services in Tasmania’s north and north-west. You’ll report across core modalities and perform procedures aligned to your personal scope. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm — with no overtime, weekends, or on-call commitments.
In Burnie, you’ll work adjacent to the public hospital in a modern, well-equipped clinic. Services include CT, MRI, general X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, arthrograms, myocardial perfusion scans, nuclear medicine, and general interventional procedures.
In Mersey, you’ll join a private hospital-based site offering CT, ultrasound, general X-ray, arthrograms, angiography, CT colonography, and a full range of general procedures. The clinic is bright, efficient, and known for its friendly, team-based approach.
